Dry EYE Evaluation and Treatment

Although Dry Eye Disease (DED) is an extremely common, it is a complex condition. DED can be secondary to medications, environment, and systemic diseases. Common signs of dry eyes include all or some of the following: burning, redness, end of the day irritation, watery eyes, blurred vision, and a foreign body sensation under the lids.

There are different types of dry eye disease, all of which require different approaches to alleviate the symptoms. There is no cure for dry eyes, but with the proper treatment and management at eyecare & eyewear, the impact of Dry Eye Disease on a patient can be minimized.
